Losing can be extremely difficult to take. Losing in public view when the oddsmakers ensure you as a dead lock to win can be even more painful. Some people never get over the loss; they carry with them like a millstone around their necks; they become bitter, angry, spiteful and generally unpleasant to be around.
In today’s world, there is no better example of the inability to overcome an unexpected public defeat and the scars that accompany the defeat than the saintly Hillary Clinton. She has gone from being a vile, self-righteous bitch to being a resentful, vile, self-righteous bitch. And it appears her decline into the abyss of dismay is worsening over time.
Mrs. Clinton’s loss to the epitome of evil, Donald Trump, in the 2016 presidential election was more than a simple public defeat; it was a public defeat to man whom she tried to make into the most heinous human being on the planet. So confident was Mrs. Clinton of her victory that she didn’t even bother to campaign in battleground states as the election drew near. It proved to be one of her more regrettable decisions.
Almost a decade later, the bitter taste of defeat remains on her tongue.
To be clear, Mrs. Clinton was never a likeable woman. Brilliant to be sure, but more malevolent than brilliant. A true product of America’s “elite” educational systems, the Ivy League, she was educated to believe that anyone who did not attend an esteemed institution of higher education was a neanderthal. Ergo, her complete disregard and disrespect for the vast majority of Americans. Still, to have real power in this country, there is no better route to the top than Washington politics. And here’s where her agony is rooted.
Mrs. Clinton paid her dues to get to the top. Dutiful first lady as her husband diddled with an intern, overrun by a charming charlatan in the 2008 Democratic primaries, Secretary of State for the charming charlatan. Everything was in place for her coronation to be America’s first woman president. The only thing missing was character.
Despite her unethical and perhaps illegal attempts to paint Donald Trump as an evil agent controlled by Vladimir Putin and the Russians, she was unable to reach wide swatches of voters. Even with the unabashedly corrupt state-run mainstream media acting as cheerleaders for her campaign, Trump pulled off one of the greatest upsets in American political history.
And Mrs. Clinton was left holding the bag. The throne for which she sacrificed her body and soul (assuming she has a soul) eluded her. Again.
In the near decade since her public defeat, public humiliation if you will, Mrs. Clinton has continued to demonstrate the good judgment of the American people in 2016. From parading around to every “news” program that would have her to proclaim that the election was stolen from her to disparaging the American people at every turn to continuing to accuse Donald Trump of every imaginable crime, Mrs. Clinton’s anger has not diminished by even an iota.
But anger alone appears to have its limit. To augment her agony, Mrs. Clinton has added bitterness and vitriol to her repertoire. (She had both these in reserve prior to her defeat.) As Donald Trump (not him again!) was trouncing the insipid Kamala Harris last year, the ever-charming Mrs. Clinton opined that Trump supporters should be sent to re-education camps. Apparently, these Mao-style internment camps would enlighten MAGA supporters to the virtues of massive government and woke idiocies. In one fell swoop, Mrs. Clinton put 78 million people into her basket of deplorables.
In 2025, Mrs. Clinton has sharpened her focus. Just last week, Mrs. Clinton said that virtually every woman who supports Donald Trump and his movement to make America great again, is essentially a slave to the patriarchy. Mrs. Clinton inferred that if a woman believes that her children should be educated without progressive overtones, if a woman believes that the streets of her city should be safe, if a woman believes that her daughter should not have to compete in athletics against men pretending to be women, if a woman believes she should be able to worship as she pleases, etc,. etc,. etc., she is a slave to men. How gracious of her!
Almost a decade later, Mrs. Clinton’s bitterness and anger is just as fresh as it was in 2016. In fact, it may have become even more entrenched in her evil ethos. It would seem that the agony of defeat will follow the ever-charming Mrs. Clinton to her grave. If an author is looking to write a book about a life wasted, Mrs. Clinton should be considered as the subject. She is truly deplorable she referenced.
I think we need to stop treating our highest office holders as royalty. The trappings of the office does something to their brains, (if they actually have brains). They can never get enough. Hillary is a perfect example. She’ll continue to make a fool of herself until they carry her off to the family plot. How about retirement Hills? That would be good.
